WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 |








A solid example of the Winchester 1873 Carbine. It is totally complete and in 44-40 caliber. The metal surfaces have a smooth, light brown patination. The wood is oil finished with numerous dents, dings and a small grain crack here and there. The bore of the gun is dirty but shows distinct rifling from one end to the other. The mechanical function is excellent. The barrel retains all of its original markings forward of the sight and 44WCF behind the sight. The receiver tang is marked Model 1873. It has the standard dust cover and safety block behind the trigger. The original carbine ring is mounted at the rear left of the receiver.
